Job summary

DIRECTV in San Diego is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team. You will receive, stock, pull, distribute, ship and track materials, tools, and equipment, supporting multiple programs and maintaining accurate inventory.

You’ll work on safety, handle shipments, operate material handling equipment, and lift up to 75 pounds. The role includes variable hours and potential travel; a medical evaluation may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with manual transmission.
• Successful results from a security investigation, as required.
• Ability to work varied hours including day, evening, or night shifts; overtime may be required.
• Out-of-town assignments may be required, including travel.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Complete a medical evaluation as required; PAEs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Wear safety equipment and follow established safety practices and procedures.
• Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or bins by product code.
• Marks materials with identifying information and labels as needed.
• Pull and distribute materials to fill technician requests.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment as required.
• Move and lift materials, tools and stock up to 75 pounds.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using a computerized system.
• Sort waste including trash, recycling, cardboard and electronics.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
