Job summary

Homans Associates in Edison, NJ is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support inventory, receiving and shipping. This full-time position offers Monday–Friday hours, an hourly pay of $20.00, and a focus on accuracy, safety and reliability in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

You will use barcode/RFID scanning, manage stock locations, operate material handling equipment and work with Store Associates and Sales Managers to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems and handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management & processing: receive, bin, and ship orders with barcodes or RFID.
• Equipment operation: safely use material handling equipment and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Warehouse organization: maintain storage, stage orders, and ensure proper product placement.
• System management: process inventory via warehouse management systems and shipping/receiving software.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with Store Associates and Sales Managers respecting OSHA guidelines.
• Quality control: accurate picking/packing, address discrepancies and issues.
• Performance standards: meet productivity targets and maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
