Job summary

SRS Building Products, a part of SRS Distribution Inc., is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Buffalo, NY to manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials. You will ensure accurate inventory handling, safe forklift operation, and excellent customer service within a fast-paced, team-first environment.

Responsibilities include logging shipments, loading orders, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
• Excellent English communication (verbal/written).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments, logging and storing materials accurately.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles with proper handling and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard, upholding safety and efficiency.
• Distribute materials to storage areas, rotate stock, and report discrepancies or damaged items.
• Provide exceptional customer service using knowledge of products and services to assist customers and team members.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a team-first, productive environment and mutual success.
• Prioritize tasks with strong time management to meet deadlines and support operations.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely following all guidelines.
