Staffmark Group in Ottawa, KS is hiring a Warehouse Associate for peak season. You will perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks while using RF scanners and common warehouse equipment.

Shift options include early morning and evening blocks with competitive hourly pay. Earn $19.00/hr on the day shift or $20.00/hr on the night shift, plus attendance bonuses up to $500 and participation in raffles and prizes.

Location: Ottawa, KS

PEAK SEASON = BIGGER EARNING POTENTIAL!

Peak Season schedule and pay rates apply November 20-December 4, 2026

Day shift: 5:00 AM-3:00 PM | $19.00/hr Night shift: 5:00 PM-3:00 AM | $20.00/hr

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.


• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.


• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.


• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.


• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.


• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.


• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.


• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
