Job summary

NSI Industries is hiring a Warehouse Associate III for our Reese Blvd Distribution Center in Huntersville, NC, on 1st shift (7:00am-3:45pm). The role emphasizes leadership, efficiency, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

A strong WMS background and forklift experience are required. The successful candidate will perform advanced DC tasks, mentor teammates, and support inventory integrity while contributing to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• LTL shipping experience.
• Raymond Reach Lift experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• At least 3 years of distribution center experience.
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong math and reading skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Visual acuity to distinguish detail and color.
• Finger/wrist dexterity for keyboard use or handling/packaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Warehouse Associate I and II.
• Safely operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Handle complex WMS tasks including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, item data management, international shipping, and order wave planning.
• Manage and process complex or large customer orders or vendor receipts.
• Process orders using Amazon Vendor Central.
• Prepare detailed reports on warehouse activities.
• Check and correct customer orders, including international and special handling.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations and process improvements.
