Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG) is a one-stop distributor of access control and perimeter security products with a nationwide network and corporate office. The warehouse position supports order pickup, inventory deliveries, and outbound shipment processes while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• 3+ years in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Ability to Read and Write in English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit up.
• Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel.
• Ability to climb or balance.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk or hear.
• Prior welding/torch experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies to ensure safety and quality.
• Assist customers with order pickup.
• Complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations.
• Provide basic customer service functions.
• May perform basic modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements.
• Oversight of outbound shipment processes.
• Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries and other administrative duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure safety of all employees.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely to minimize accidents.
• Contribute and implement process suggestions to improve warehouse operations.
• Identify deviations in the process and notify supervisor to correct issues.
• Report equipment and infrastructure damage to minimize safety risk.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and work assigned schedule, with overtime as needed.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
• Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
