The position requires handling shipments, counts, labeling, and safe operation of material handling equipment. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1+ year related experience and strong math and communication

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report them.
• Sort, count, label, and store materials in designated locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Collaborate with warehouse departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate inventory.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy and damage.
• Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Accurately sort, count, label, and store incoming materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Collaborate with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate inventory.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• High school Diploma or local equivalent/GED
• Minimum 1-year related experience
• Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language (English)
• Proficient in basic mathematics
• Ability to communicate well and work with others
• Ability to consistently lift 35 lbs. alone, anything over 35 lbs. requires assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and documentation.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Desired Characteristics

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in storing and receiving
• Knowledge of computerized material flow methods
• Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
• Oracle GLPROD and e DHR experience a plus
