Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a Warehouse Associate II - Outbound in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time role starts in the afternoon and may expand to 12-hour shifts as business needs require. You will unload trucks, check in and stock products, pick items for outbound trucks, and cross-train across inbound, replenishment and outbound areas.

The job requires a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, RF scanner experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Safety PPE is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• RF scanner/voice-pick experience highly preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks in inbound using pallet jack to move pallets.
• Use Manhattan WMS to check in products; store refrigerated items per regs.
• Stock locations, pick to outbound trucks; cycle through departments.
• Cross-train in Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound operations.
• Palletize, label, and pack items; operate PIT/MHE equipment as required.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; work in a fast-paced environment.

Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. ***Responsibilities**** Unloading trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.* Using Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.* Storing products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.* Picking products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.* Cross-training in multiple departments: Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound* Breaking down cases of product and operate PIT equipment to stock or replenish warehouse* Utilizing voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart* Ensuring high quality through attention to detail and correctly identify products by item number* Organizing and segregate similar items at point of receipt* Breaking down and palletizing large items to skid and wrap for shipment* Packing and correctly label small items in boxes or bags* Driving material handling equipment as required by job duty.
