Dal-Tile Warehouse Associate Job Description

Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. The position requires daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective:

• Perform various material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Primary Function and Scope:

• Pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Receiving inbound materials, processing shipments, handling customer returns, and reporting damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility, including sweeping, trash removal, and general maintenance.
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety rules and reporting hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Knowledge:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• Preferred 3+ years of warehouse experience.

Competencies:

• Basic math and organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
