Dal-Tile Warehouse Associate Job Description

Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves various material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling customer orders, and inventory checks. The position requires the daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective
  • Perform a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.
Primary Function and Scope
  • Handle warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
  • Perform receiving duties, including unloading inbound shipments, processing shipments and stock material, handling customer returns, and reporting damaged shipments for freight claims.
  • Operate forklift equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, restroom, and general office maintenance.
  • Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Forklift Operator.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of warehouse experience.
Competencies
  • Basic math, organization, customer service skills, fluency in English, attention to detail, and safety consciousness.
Other Pertinent Job Information
  • Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
