Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a warehouse associate for our Carrollton, TX facility. You will operate forklift equipment, run banding and wrapping machines, and support inventory tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

You must have 6+ months warehouse experience, pass the lift truck certification, lift up to 80 lbs, and be able to work a day shift in a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ months experience in a warehouse role.
• Must be able to operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk Lift Truck certification test.
• Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines.
• Able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.
• Stand for extended periods; lift at least 80 lbs.
• Able to climb on/off a Lift Truck repeatedly.
• Must work day shift.
• Work safely around moving equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Must be able to efficiently perform all of the following functions:

• Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within assigned facility.

Plus At Least 2 Of The Following Functions

• Perform cycle counts and other inventory control functions.
• Receive trucks, open and close truck doors.
• Handle and coordinate floor sample materials assigned to facility.
• May train others in warehouse functions.
• Any other duties assigned by management

What You Have

• At minimum 6+ months experience working in a warehouse position
• Ability to operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk Lift Truck certification test
• Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift at minimum 80lbs throughout the shift
• Able to climb on and off a Lift Truck numerous times throughout shift
