Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate II for the Glasgow, VA facility on 2nd shift. The role involves receiving shipping orders, operating equipment, and strictly following safety rules to support our global flooring operations.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required and lift truck operation is essential.
• Adherence to safety rules and procedures is mandatory.
• Maintains general housekeeping and supports equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipping orders from the shipping office and route them accordingly.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within the facility.
• Operate Glad Hand Locks to secure trailers and unload goods.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance including cleaning and fueling.
• Report safety hazards and incidents to supervision immediately.
• Follow established SOPs and participate in job-related training.

• Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within assigned facility.
• Operate Glad Hand Locks to lock trailers
• Receive shipping orders from shipping office.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment:
  • Cleaning
  • Fueling
  • Completes daily equipment check
• Immediately report to supervision all safety hazards, accidents, and/or injuries, no matter how slight
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
