Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, seeks a Warehouse Associate II for the Carrollton, TX facility on 1st shift. You will operate a forklift, run banding and wrapping machines, and help ensure accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a warehouse
• Able to operate forklift equipment and pass Mohawk Lift Truck certification test
• Able to operate banding and wrapping machines
• Able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift at minimum 80 lbs
• Able to climb on and off a Lift Truck
• Must be able to work day shift
• Able to work around moving equipment and machinery

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and all types of lift truck equipment in the facility
• Operate banding and wrapping machines in the facility
• Perform cycle counts and other inventory control functions (as applicable)
• Receive trucks and open/close truck doors (as applicable)
• Handle and coordinate floor sample materials assigned to the facility (as applicable)
• May train others in warehouse functions
• Other duties assigned by management

What you'll do:

Must be able to efficiently perform all of the following functions:

• Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within assigned facility.

Plus at least 2 of the following functions:

• Perform cycle counts and other inventory control functions.
• Receive trucks, open and close truck doors.
• Handle and coordinate floor sample materials assigned to facility.
• May train others in warehouse functions.
• Any other duties assigned by management

What you have:

• At minimum 6+ months experience working in a warehouse position
• Ability to operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk Lift Truck certification test
• Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift at minimum 80lbs throughout the shift
• Able to climb on and off a Lift Truck numerous times throughout shift
• Must be able to work day shift
• Able to work in and around moving equipment and machinery
