Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for full-cycle order processing in a high-volume aerospace supply chain environment. Under direct supervision, the associate will receive, put away, pick, pack, ship, and document customized orders while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive material from vendors and enter data into the computer system
  • Count and record material to ensure accuracy and perform data entry as required
  • Pull or stock materials using RF scanning, scale, and/or hand count according to specifications
  • Prepare labels with the label printer and return remaining product to proper location
  • Package and prepare material for shipment using carrier and third‑party shipping systems
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to support accurate inventory management
  • Create and reconcile paperwork and correspondence to address inventory discrepancies
  • Meet quality and productivity standards, including on‑time delivery and customer acceptance rates
  • Follow safety regulations and promote a hazard‑free work environment
  • Operate pallet jacks, drum dollys, forklifts, and order pickers (trained/certified)
  • Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and safety briefings as required
  • Comply with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies such as OSHA, FAR, EPA, DOT, and RCRA
  • Obtain cross‑training to support other warehouse functions when needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Forklift certification and current license (preferred)
  • 1‑2 years of general warehousing, inventory control, or shipping experience (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
  • Good observation skills and awareness of warehouse safety issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Detail oriented and capable of performing basic research as needed
  • Willingness to learn and use integrated database systems (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of DOT and EPA guidelines for transporting hazardous materials, as required
  • Compliance with ITAR requirements and, where applicable, FAR requirements for security clearance
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to perform delivery and pickup duties (required)
