Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Warehouse Associate to support a small, fast-paced regional warehouse. The role involves moving materials with a forklift or handcarts, picking parts for shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic math, and good communication. Prior forklift experience and familiarity with quality/compliance training are preferred. This on-site position emphasizes adherence to EHS and GDP procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or local equivalent.
  • Able to read, write and speak in local language.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics.
  • Ability to communicate well and work with others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to consistently lift.
  • Ability to utilize automated lifting equipment.
  • Quality-focused; comply with GE HealthCare Quality policies and training.
  • Complete planned Quality & Compliance training by deadlines.
  • Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and take corrective action.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials within a small, fast-paced warehouse using handcarts or forklifts.
  • Picks parts/products for shipments with accurate identification and quantity.
  • Receive/issue material requisitions from internal/external departments.
  • Create and maintain transactional inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate packing and shipping activity files.
  • Notify personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies.
  • Fill kits and deliver to production as required.
  • Maintain stocking/inventory objectives.
  • Quantify and verify cycle counts.
  • Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform warehouse distribution duties per GDP training and local procedures.

Job Description Summary Be able to work within a small, localized warehouse with fast paced environment. Oracle, eDHR experience a plus.


Job Description


  • Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forklifts

  • Picks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity

  • Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments

  • Create and/or maintain transactional inventory records

  • Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity

  • Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies

  • Fill kits and deliver to production as required

  • Maintain stocking/inventory objectives

  • Quantifies and verifies cycle count

  • Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

  • Perform warehouse distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures' (Core Imaging Only)

  • Quality Specific Goals: Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required


Desired Characteristics


  • 2+ years experience in storing and material handling

  • Knowledge of computerized material flow methods

  • Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control

  • Prior experience using a forklift and weight scales
