Job summary

Core & Main, a leading distributor of essential infrastructure products, seeks a warehouse associate to support receiving, inventory control and distribution tasks. You will count, record, and verify shipments, operate forklifts, and deliver materials to designated areas with accuracy.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 2–5 years of experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Pay ranges from $16.90–$22.53 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and safety training provided.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system.
• Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
• Record receiving data using a computer.
• Identify incorrect/short, shipped items and notify supervisor.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, stocking, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• May operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Maintains condition of work area and follows safety policies.
• Will drive a pick-up truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system.
• Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
• Record receiving data using a computer.
• Identify incorrect/short, shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, fabricating, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• May operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• Will drive a pick-up truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment assessments.
• Preferably, a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 - 5 years of experience.
• Forklift experience.

Pay: $16.90 - $22.53 per hour.
