Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Warehouse Associate II for our Greenfield, IN facility. You will handle day-to-day logistics, including receiving, shipping, inventory control and campus deliveries, with a company-owned box truck. CDL not required.

The role requires a high-school diploma and at least two years of experience in warehouse, shipping or inventory control. Forklift certification is preferred, and you should be able to work independently with strong attention to detail and good computer skills

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to driving, receiving, inventory control and shipping in a safe and efficient manner.

• Verify contents of received materials against purchase orders.
• Record purchases, samples and inventory receipts in internal systems.
• Maintain stock rotation and participate in physical inventories.
• Prepare documents for dangerous goods shipments and shipping permits.

Warehouse Associate II to join our team in Greenfield, IN

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 7am-4 pm. May be required to work some holidays or weekends following training.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day logistics operations including delivery, receiving, shipping, warehouse and inventory control. The position requires extensive contact with Couriers and internal departments at Labcorp. Responsible for day-to-day task activities related to Inbound, Outbound, SM and lab to lab shipments.

Essential Job Duties

• Performs a variety of duties related to driving, receiving, inventory control and shipping in a safe and efficient manner.
• Deliver materials or samples to proper locations. Campus wide deliveries made with company owned box truck. No CDL required
• Loads and unloads freight in a safe manner. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Makes certain all equipment needed for handling and moving goods is available and in safe working condition.
• Verify contents of material received under purchase orders.
• Report shortages, damages, and incorrect shipments on appropriate forms and to designated personnel.
• Using internal computer systems, enter purchase order, sample, and/or inventory receipts, perform inquiries and print appropriate paperwork.
• Ensure proper rotation and organization of stock and participate in physical inventories.
• Confirm internal stock requisitions, pick requested items, ensure that the correct number and types of product are picked and delivered.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse area. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Assists with preparing documents and dangerous goods shipments (e.g.; package, secure container for shipment, affix appropriate label, and complete required documentation using shipping software). Assists in the preparation of and apply for necessary shipping permits.

Minimum Qualifications

• High-School diploma
• 2 years experience in warehouse, shipping or inventory control

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certified

Pay Range

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
