FloWorks is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for Sunbelt Supply in Luling, LA. You will verify shipments, prepare items for shipment, and support accurate records and inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include unloading/loading trucks, packaging, routing materials, and using forklift equipment. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, 0–2 years' related experience, and familiarity with SAP; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 0-2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Handle incoming and outgoing products and goods; package and prepare LTL shipments and documentation.
• Route material to staging or shipping areas.

• Maintain clean work area and follow safety policies and procedures.

We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work.

Job Information

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas
• Mechanically Inclined
• Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor
• Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and Suppliers
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize work

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
• Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools
• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP)
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Valid driver’s license

This role operates in a warehouse environment. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required. Typically requires less than 10% travel.
