Sunbelt Supply, a FloWorks International company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prep items for shipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating dock activities, packaging, routing materials, forklift operation, and using SAP for material planning. Candidates should have a HS diploma, forklift experience, and a valid driver's license. This on-site role offers growth within a team-focused warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including unloading and loading semi-trucks, UPS and FedEx trucks.
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation.
• Routing material to staging or shipping areas.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Operate forklift and work with warehouse supervisor to assemble valve automation.
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other software to track and communicate with customers, carriers and suppliers.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and prioritize tasks.

Job Information

TheWarehouse Associateis responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas
• Mechanically Inclined
• Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor
• Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and Suppliers
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize work

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
• Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools
• Forklift experience
• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP)
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Valid driver’s license

Work Environment

This role operates in a warehouse environment. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required. Typical requires less than 10% travel.
