Job summary

FloWorks International LLC, via Sunbelt Supply in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I. You will verify shipments, prepare items for shipping, and support loading/unloading in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools.
• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including unloading and loading semi-trucks, UPS and FedEx trucks.
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods; packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation.
• Routing material to staging or shipping areas.
• Mechanical incline and ability to work on valve automation and assembly with supervision.
• Operate forklift; certification a plus.
• Use MS Office, Outlook, and other software to track and communicate with customers, carriers, and suppliers.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow company safety policies.

We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work.

Job Information

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas
• Mechanically Inclined
• Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor
• Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and Suppliers
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize work

• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP)
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems

  This role operates in a warehouse environment. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required. Typically requires less than 10% travel.
