Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply in Visalia, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our 1st shift, Monday–Friday. The role supports safe, accurate movement of goods across the distribution center, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control and housekeeping.

You will use RF scanners to fulfill orders, verify quantities and lot numbers, apply packaging, print shipping labels, and move shipments to carrier staging areas.

Qualifications

• 3 months of similar warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills and Windows-based systems are preferred.
• Ability to work well with others and independently and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanner for directed picks to fulfill customer orders.
• Move orders and carts to the next processing area.
• Inspect inventory and alert supervisor to potential issues.
• Scan items to verify correct shipment and apply packaging to protect goods.
• Verify lot/batch numbers and product attributes for each order.
• Print and apply shipping labels and stage packages for carriers.
• Utilize RF scanner for inventory movement, counts and replenishments.
• Receive inventory from POs/ASNs and perform putaways.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and assist with general housekeeping.
