Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate I in Norristown, PA. The role involves safe, accurate movement of goods in the distribution center, including order pulling, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

You will use RF scanners to fulfill orders, verify items, apply packaging, and move shipments to carriers. A strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Minimum 3 months of similar warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions and manuals.
• Basic computer skills; Windows-based computer preferred.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Must be self-motivated and able to problem solve.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanner to pick inventory for order fulfillment.
• Move orders and carts to next processing area.
• Inspect inventory and alert supervisor to issues.
• Scan items to verify correct shipment.
• Package items securely to minimize damage in transit.
• Verify lot/batch numbers, quantities, and product attributes.
• Print and apply shipping labels; prepare packages for carrier.
• Perform inventory movements and cycle counts with RF scanner.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment.
