Job summary

Wilsonart in Dallas is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to perform warehousing functions, replenish finished goods inventory from manufacturing facilities, fill customer orders, inspect materials, and pack items for shipment. You will read and interpret orders, ensure correct bin placement, report discrepancies, count skids, and assist customers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of warehouse experience; physical ability to lift heavy items and operate a lift

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift heavy weight (>50 lbs) and perform continuous physical exertion.
• Willingness to learn, follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receives material from facilities and vendors.
• Checks and places materials in the correct bin.
• Checks material against manifest and reports discrepancies.
• Informs supervisor and photographs defective materials.
• Packs orders and prepares shipments.
• Reads, interprets, processes, and packs orders.
• Performs total skid count for loads.
• Assists customer needs.
