Job summary

Wilsonart in Dallas is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to support inventory replenishment and order fulfillment in the finishing goods area. You will receive material, verify against manifests, pack orders, and prepare shipments. This role requires accuracy, the ability to follow directions, and basic data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift and move heavy material (>50 lbs).
• Ability to learn and follow packing procedures.
• Ability to operate a lift truck.

Responsibilities

• Receives all material from manufacturing facilities and vendors.
• Checks and places materials in the correct bin.
• Packs customer orders and prepares skids or rolls to fill pending orders.
• Informs supervisor of discrepancies and processes orders.
• Reads, interprets, and packs orders.
• Performs total skid count for loads.
• Assists the needs of the customer.

This person will perform warehousing functions to replenish the finished goods inventory with material from the manufacturing facilities. Fill customer orders, inspect material and pack material for shipment as needed in the assigned department/location.
