Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations associate to support materials handling and product distribution in a demanding warehouse setting. You will assist with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and storage while following established SOPs and quality guidelines.

The role requires basic communication skills, an ability to use Microsoft Office, and physical capability to lift and stand for long shifts. Training on forklift/PIT equipment will be provided.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Will be trained on Forklift and all PIT equipment including Floor Scrubber.

Responsibilities

• General care and housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Sweeping, cutting, cleaning plastic and cardboard off pallets.
• Compactor and guard cleaning
• Trash clean up and removals
• Overall ensuring the facility is tidy and safe

Shift Details - Tuesday - Saturday, 2PM until completion of task - Overtime will be required - Must be available to start at 12:00 PM as required based on employee rotation schedules, business needs, or training requirements.

Pay rate: $19.50 per hour (including shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
