Job summary

Voith US Inc. in York, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to perform shipping and receiving duties, load and unload trucks, and move parts to the assembly shop while maintaining accuracy.

You will support field service by shipping toolbox kits, create export invoices from the MRP system, and handle related documentation with attention to detail. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Windows, and solid inventory control knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 3+ years related experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Windows software.
• Knowledge of inventory practices and procedures.
• Strong pick & pack techniques for shipping inventory.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• UPS/Fed-Ex/LTL shipping knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform fast paced, accurate shipping and receiving duties as assigned.
• Loading and unloading of trucks both inside and outside.
• Delivery & retrieval of parts to and from assembly SHOP area.
• MHE inspection/maintenance checks.
• Support field service operations by arranging toolbox shipments.
• Create commercial invoices from MRP system for export sales.
• Post shipments & scan completed documents.

Summary:

The incumbent in this job is responsible for shipping and receiving materials and parts in the warehouse. The position also handles basic international shipping based on sales orders. The incumbent will also perform additional Logistics functions as needed.

• STRONG knowledge of inventory practices and procedures.
• SUFFICIENT product knowledge in order to resolve inventory issues.
• STRONG pick and pack techniques for shipping of inventory.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• UPS/Fed-Ex/LTL shipping knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must wear gloves and ear protection.
