Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate aims to exceed customer expectations by ensuring accurate, timely, and salable order fulfillment. The role involves conducting tasks safely and efficiently while surpassing customer expectations.

Essential Functions

Employees must perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. To request accommodation, notify Human Resources or the supervisor.

Order Filling

• Picks products according to wave pick list and organizes on cart
• Pulls items from shelves based on specifications
• Operates scanners for accuracy and inventory management

Order Checking

• Verifies picked items match invoice details
• Checks expiration dates for time-sensitive items
• Ensures all invoice items are picked, including components

Packing

• Counts and verifies items against invoice
• Matches shipping labels with invoice data
• Selects proper packaging and labels, following regulations
• Prepares shipping documents for hazardous materials if applicable

Manifests

• Weighs packages, verifies transportation method, and labels correctly
• Corrects non-conforming packages for auto-manifested shipments

Expeditor

Processes orders requiring special handling as needed.

Order Processing

Fulfills client orders to ensure satisfaction.

Additional Functions

Supports company ethics, safety, and operational standards, maintains warehouse organization, handles hazardous materials per regulations, and uses warehouse equipment as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals

Working Conditions

Equipment Used: Warehouse and office equipment, MS Office, shipping, and inventory software. May require forklift training and certification.

Physical Activities: Moving frequently, grasping, reaching, bending, exposure to dust.

Physical Demands: Lift/carry up to 55 pounds, team lift over 55 pounds, continuous standing or sitting, manual hand use, occasional climbing or crawling.

Travel and On-call: No travel or on-call required.
