Job description

Who we are looking for: We are currently seeking a Second Shift Warehouse Associate with a safety mindset. You will work in a distribution center, stocking, counting, and moving products.

What you’ll do:

  1. Deliver industry-leading service to our customers by being actively engaged in your area of operation.
  2. Load and/or unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
  3. Sort and move palletized and bulk materials in and out of trailers, flatbeds, containers, loading docks, and storage areas.
  4. Pack and wrap boxed/palletized goods, focusing on accurate counting and auditing of materials.
  5. Identify and label materials and pallets, and track their locations to maintain inventory accuracy.
  6. Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, picking, packing, and loading items for delivery.
  7. Operate Powered Industrial Trucks such as pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and stock chasers.
  8. Track and log all checklists for PITs (Powered Industrial Trucks).
  9. Follow all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and plant rules daily.
  10. Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards as defined by site leadership.
  11. Conduct oneself in line with the company mission, core values, and standards of conduct.
  12. Collaborate with Supervisor/Manager to plan workload, priorities, and assess skills.
  13. Print and sort order paperwork.
  14. Perform cycle counts as needed.
  15. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring:

  • A positive attitude focused on safety, quality, and engagement.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, reasoning, and logic for process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic math and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs or assist in team lifts of 51+ lbs.
  • Standing and walking up to 10 hours per day.
  • 3+ years of forklift operation experience or certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience in a retail or large distribution center preferred.
