Job summary

Serendipity Wines LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support logistics and fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

You will unpack, verify, pick, pack, and ship goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and help with bi-annual counts. Strong teamwork, safety, and basic computer skills are valued; prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year shipping/receiving experience requested.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and verifies goods received against orders.
• Communicates damaged or missing items to Warehouse Manager for return or replacement by Vendor.
• Maintains records of received goods and rejects damaged items.
• Prepares and ships products to customers and/or other designated parties.
• Accurately picks products from inventory for shipment.
• Packs products to prevent damage.
• Receives and processes return authorizations.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and organized; labels inventory and stages orders for delivery.
• Stores products safely and in proper places.
• Opens and closes facilities.
• Assists with bi-annual inventory preparation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unpacks and verifies goods received against purchase orders and/or invoices.
• Communicates damaged or missing items to Warehouse Manager for return or
  replacement by Vendor.
• Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory or damaged items.
• Responsible for accurately preparing and shipping all products to customers and/or other designated parties.
• Accurately picks product to be shipped from inventory.
• Packs product as necessary to ensure it arrives damage free.
• Receives and processes return authorizations.
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery.
• Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
• Responsible for opening and closing facilities.
• Assists Warehouse Manager in bi-annual physical inventory preparation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
