Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower is seeking a warehouse associate in Tucson, AZ to receive, store, pick, pack and ship merchandise and supplies for customer orders. The role involves assembling and building industrial and hydraulic hose with proper training and guidance, and assisting customers at the retail counter with guidance, hose repair and order processing.

Ideal candidates have experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse, can operate a forklift, lift over 50 pounds, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse setting.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift/move product weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to complete transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to manage time and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively interact with staff and vendors.
• Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items.
• Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and around warehouse.
• Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations.
• Display merchandise, suggest selections that meet customer needs, and emphasize selling points.
• Discusses use and features of various parts; make recommendations based on needs.
• Resolve or alert management regarding inventory issues or customer concerns.
• Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to specifications and standards.
• Uphold environmental health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
