Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, organize, store, pull, and ship merchandise and supplies for customer orders in Nashville. You will assist customers at the retail counter with guidance, hose repair, and order processing.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, forklift operation, heavy lifting capability, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork to support efficient operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse setting.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Ability to lift/move product weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to complete transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with staff and vendors.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items.
• Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise.
• Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations.
• Display merchandise and suggest selections that meet customer needs.
• Discusses use and features of parts; make recommendations based on needs.
• Resolve or alert management regarding inventory issues or customer concerns.
• Assemble and build hoses to specifications and standards.
• Uphold environmental health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
