Job summary

American Tire Distributors is hiring a Warehouse I in Tulsa, OK. The role involves picking and staging products, moving items weighing up to 150 pounds, and supporting daily warehouse closeouts.

You’ll use handheld devices for inventory and operate forklifts or order pickers following safety licenses and procedures. You will verify product quantities, assist with reporting damaged or missing stock, and help with loading deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree.
• 0-1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading; data entry of product numbers with handheld devices for inventory accuracy.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as paperwork handling and warehouse closing procedures.
• Compile and submit reports on damaged, outdated stock, over/under shipments, and returns to vendors; segregate defective items from regular inventory flow.
• Data entry of product numbers and product placement for inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, handle tires and heavier items with team lifting.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain operator licenses.
• Organize warehouse stock by product line and space to allow overflow.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks and keep floors and bathrooms tidy.
• Verify accuracy of incoming/outgoing products regarding quantity, size, and type; report shortages to management.
