Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Walton, KY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime possibilities. This role involves handling loose freight, loading and unloading, sorting, staging and moving products in a distribution center, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to pass background and drug tests, and capable of performing physically demanding warehouse tasks in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, keeping in mind weight, size, and characteristics of product in mind.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.
• Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company or site-specific safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
