Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment in our West Allis location. You will read orders, assemble items, label stock, and maintain inventory accuracy while handling freight with standard equipment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, basic math and computer skills, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. A strong work ethic and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Enter records into computer.
