Job summary

CBX Solutions in Vernon Hills, IL is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to ensure smooth warehouse operations. You will prepare orders for delivery, pull inventory, load trucks, and maintain accurate labeling and records.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will work with supervisors and fellow staff to safely move products, operate warehouse equipment, and support logistics using our tech tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus.
• Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to work closely with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Pull inventory for shipments.
• Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on the truck for delivery.
• Record selected merchandise per SOPs.
• Ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all orders.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment and optimize space.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and company procedures.
• Work in accordance with warehouse safety regulations.
• Load finished product onto truck.
• Navigate equipment through the warehouse to collect orders.
• Follow safety regulations for driving and material handling.
• Interact with customers and the public professionally.
• Counter sales to General Contractors.
• Use technology to manage logistics processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
