Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Thornton, CO. You will accurately pick items for customer orders, operate a forklift, label cases, and load pallets for shipping.

The role requires reading and following pick lists, using RF scanners, and maintaining proper batch sequences with attention to safety. In this fast-paced environment, you will help keep refrigeration in check, assist teammates, and perform daily housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• PIV certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Select Gordon Food Service products for customer orders using pick lists and RF scanners.
• Operate forklift to move pallets and loads between departments and for loading.
• Label cases, place products on pallets, and prepare shipments for trailers.
• Maintain proper batch sequence and ensure refrigeration units are at correct temps.
• Perform housekeeping and assist warehouse staff as needed.
