Job summary

Caterpillar is hiring a Warehouse Associate at the Atlanta Distribution Center. You will handle receipt, storage, and shipping of parts and materials, using scanners and various equipment. The role requires safety discipline and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Typical shifts include day, evening, and night options with overtime. Candidates should have at least 1 year in a warehouse and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must maintain PPE and safety procedures for tasks performed.
• At least 1 year of current warehouse experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling, receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving and order processing.
• Be trained to operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes where needed.
• Report defects and needs for repairs and maintain good housekeeping.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
