Job summary

Border States in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination. The role involves inspecting incoming freight, organizing stock locations, and preparing orders for customers with accuracy and speed.

You will work with SAP and other warehouse systems, follow safety procedures, and communicate with carriers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Follows-up with appropriate departments, carriers, and/or vendors on receiving discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material to be delivered.
• Maintains assigned inventory stock locations; ensures correct locator and neat shelves.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
• Maintains daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets, as appropriate.
