Job summary

Border States in Orlando, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, inspect for damages, distribute materials to stock locations, and fill orders for delivery to customers.

You will coordinate with departments, carriers, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate labeling and inventory control. The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, adherence to safety guidelines, and maintaining organized stock areas.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• PC skills: Windows, internet, email; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight and check the material for damages or shortages.
• Distribute material to the proper stock locations.
• Fill special orders and backorders as material is received.
• Follow-up with departments, carriers, and vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Check and pack material to be delivered.
• Coordinate deliveries with our own trucks, assigned freight companies, or other carriers on special requests.
