Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Spokane, WA, is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join the Product Support and Logistics Division at the Spokane Distribution Center. You will perform material handling, operate scanners, and support order processing to keep parts flowing to customers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to read/write and interpret English documents.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Reliable, punctual with safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform warehousing tasks including receiving, storing, moving and shipping parts and materials.
• Operate handheld scanner for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Be trained on order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts and hoists where applicable.
• Report defects and need for repairs as needed.
• Build wooden shipping containers and apply paint/rust preventative.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
