Job summary

Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. - Roanoke is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse maintenance, shipping/receiving, product storage and delivery setup.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating a forklift, and adhering to safety policies while collaborating with team to fulfill customer orders. The posted wage range is $18.00–$19.81 per hour, with overtime potential and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred. 1–3 years of experience or more is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy; prepare orders and load/unload trucks.
• Maintain inventory controls and ensure order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse, manage bin locations, and uphold high standards of customer service; lift up to 50 lbs. and wear protective gear.
• Operate a forklift.
