Job summary

SRS Building Products in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials within our warehouse and branch network. You will log incoming shipments, verify counts, and ensure accurate storage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven forklift operation experience.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments.
• Proficient with inventory management software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiar with industry-specific software applications.
• Proficient in Spanish or another secondary language.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.
• Conducted safety audits and training sessions.
• Adaptable to changing environments and challenges.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
• Effective time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments, logging and storing materials per company standards.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks with correct documentation and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Maintain an organized, clean warehouse, yard, and office; uphold safety and operational excellence.
• Manage inventory by distributing materials to storage areas, rotating stock, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
• Collaborate with team members to support a cooperative, productive work environment and a team-first culture.
