Job summary

W.W. Williams is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Wakefield, MA to manage shipping and receiving by loading and unloading trucks. The role requires forklift certification or ability to certify within 30 days, and a solid knowledge of warehouse procedures and UPS WorldShip.

You will log shipments, perform cycle counts, and prepare documentation while ensuring accurate parts and pallet handling. Benefits include paid time off and insurance options.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of education, training, and experience or equivalent.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and UPS WorldShip.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Log all incoming and outgoing shipments, from small parcels to large pallets.
• Load and unload materials on and off trucks.
• Perform cycle counts and verify product counts.
• Package and label products for shipment to ensure safe delivery.
• Notify contacts by email about shipments arriving or leaving.
• Record outgoing shipments and prepare documentation for accounting.
