Hudson's Furniture in Sanford, FL is hiring for a warehouse receiving role. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with early-morning hours and a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
• Team-lift heavier furniture when needed.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical work for extended periods.
• Able to work inside shipping containers and trailers in Florida's heat and humidity.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Closed-toe work boots required.
• Warehouse experience preferred, but not required — we will train the right person!

Responsabilités

• manually unload boxed and wrapped furniture from shipping containers and trailers
• Lift, carry, and safely stage furniture for warehouse lift operators
• Assist with loading furniture onto order pickers
• Help count and verify incoming merchandise
• Inspect packaging for visible damage and report concerns
• Keep receiving areas clean, safe, and organized
• Follow proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety procedures
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed

What You'll Do

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position involving frequent lifting, carrying, and unloading of furniture throughout the workday.

• Manually unload boxed and wrapped furniture from shipping containers and trailers

• Lift, carry, and safely stage furniture for warehouse lift operators

• Assist with loading furniture onto order pickers

• Help count and verify incoming merchandise

• Inspect packaging for visible damage and report concerns

• Keep receiving areas clean, safe, and organized

• Follow proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety procedures

• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
