Job summary

Best Tile is seeking a full-time warehouse associate in Urbana, MD. Base pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour. You will assist customers with order pick-up, prepare orders, and help load/unload merchandise in a safe, organized warehouse.

Responsibilities include receiving, shelving, inventory counting, and ensuring a clean, compliant workspace. Prior material handling experience and forklift certification are preferred but not required; training is available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of material handling experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required. Training provided.
• Dependable, hardworking, and organized.
• Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting, carrying, bending, pushing & pulling).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with order pick-up; prepare orders for customers and complete sales paperwork.
• Load and unload bulky and heavy merchandise.
• Open crates and containers to identify and receive product.
• Place incoming product in assigned storage locations.
• Relocate product as required and in a predetermined sequence.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counting.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies, procedures, and practices.
