Job summary

The Staff Pad in Lenexa, KS is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our logistics and sales support team. You will ensure accuracy in orders, uphold safety standards, and communicate effectively with Branch and Corporate Management to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1 year warehouse experience, and knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage products preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers while upholding company standards.
  • Maintain showroom and warehouse standards and follow safety guidelines.
  • Complete required regulatory training, including Hazmat and forklift training.
  • Maintain clear communication with Branch and Corporate Management regarding outcomes, discrepancies, safety concerns, and potential issues.
  • Prepare and organize will-call and shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
  • Receive products from carriers and verify quantities for accuracy.

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a family-owned distributor of low-voltage electronics to hire a dependable and experienced Warehouse Associate for logistics and sales support at their Lenexa, KS location

The primary responsibility of this role is to consistently maintain and exceed the company’s customer service standards while promptly communicating any service variances to Branch Management

Schedule: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliverexceptional service to internal and external customers while upholdingcompany standards
  • Maintainshowroom and warehouse standards in accordance with company safety andappearance guidelines
  • Completerequired regulatory training, including Hazmat and forklift training
  • Maintainclear communication with Branch and Corporate Management regardingoutcomes, discrepancies, safety concerns, and potential issues
Shipping Responsibilities
  • Prepareand organize will-call and shipping orders, ensuring will-call orders areproperly stored
  • Verifyall orders for accuracy and quality control
  • Packageproducts efficiently to minimize costs and prevent damage
  • Accuratelyenter shipping information into the shipping system according toestablished guidelines
Receiving Responsibilities
  • Receiveproducts from carriers and verify quantities for accuracy
  • Inspectproducts for visible damage and quality
  • Accuratelyenter products into the ERP system following company guidelines
  • Properlystock products in the warehouse and/or showroom using the product masterlist
  • Rotateproducts to maintain proper inventory flow
  • Followestablished guidelines for non-stock items
Stocking Responsibilities
  • Restockshowroom shelves and displays daily while ensuring products are clean andpresentable
  • Frontand face products on shelves for a neat, organized appearance
  • Rearrangeproducts to accommodate new items and additional SKUs in the showroom andwarehouse
  • Ensureproducts and bin boxes are clearly labeled
  • Usecompany inventory lists to ensure accurate merchandise placement
  • Followproduct placement guidelines and collaborate with Operations and Marketingto maintain consistent showroom appearance and messaging
  • Maintaina clean, presentable showroom and keep the area free of hazards
  • Keepwarehouse floors clean and free of debris while maintaining an organizedshipping area
Additional Responsibilities
  • Operateforklifts, pallet jacks, packaging equipment, and related machinery asapplicable
  • Usestandard office equipment including computers, phones, and copiers
  • UtilizeERP, HCM, and Microsoft Office systems
  • Performadditional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Physical Demands
  • Performphysical activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, andlifting
  • Safelyhandle and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Maintainthe physical and visual abilities required to perform job duties
What We Are Looking For
