Job summary

Optum is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team in Ohio. You will support inbound/outbound logistics, use a pallet jack, and operate WMS to ensure accurate receipt and storage of products, including refrigerated items.

Responsibilities include order fulfillment, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while following SOPs. Strong teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Basic mathematical skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights 20–30 ft.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Check shipping documents and ensure shipments go to the Optum Distribution Center.
• Load/unload trailers using pallet jack or similar devices.
• Use WMS to check in products and store refrigerated items per regulations.
• Store products in warehouse locations and pick items for outbound trailers.
• Complete order fulfillment: pick, pack, and prepare shipments with QC.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow SOPs.
• Operate material handling equipment after training; ensure OSHA compliance.
