Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member in Madison, MS. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and shipping products with attention to accuracy and safety.

Training is provided on day one, with opportunities to grow within a large nationwide health care distribution network. The position offers a fast-paced environment, a steady schedule from Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with heights up to 30 ft.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies, like computers or POS systems, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing and preparation for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!
