Job Overview

Receives, stocks, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. Responsibilities include those of a Warehouse Associate I with additional administrative requirements.

A Day In The Life

• Receives materials from suppliers and production, verifying accuracy of packing lists against purchase orders using SAP purchasing screens or "Boxing report".
• Counts, sorts, and stores materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items, and distributes items to production areas (as needed on second shift).
• Records quantities of materials or items received or distributed using Material Requisitions, Receiving Tickets, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, electronic counting/weighing scales.

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role

• Forklift and inventory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience desired.
• This position requires lifting at least 50 pounds, handling 12-foot-long crates with a forklift, and proficiency in computer skills (email and SAP).
