Job Overview

Receives, stocks, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. Responsibilities include those of a Warehouse Associate I with additional administrative requirements.

A Day In The Life

1. Receives material from suppliers and production, verifying the accuracy of packing lists against Purchase Orders using SAP purchasing screens or the "Boxing report".
2. Counts, sorts, and stores materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
3. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production areas (as needed on second shift).
4. Records quantities of material or items received or distributed using Material Requisitions, Receiving Tickets, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
5. Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
6. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, electronic counting/weighing scales.

• Forklift and inventory experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• This position requires lifting at least 50 pounds, handling 12-foot-long crates with a forklift, and proficiency in computer skills (email and SAP).
